Google Earth Now Lets You Fly Around the World With Your Hands
Google Earth just upped its cool factor. With the help of motion-control technology, now you can use your hands to fly over mountains, cityscapes and famous landmarks.
The company announced on Monday — which just so happens to be Earth Day — it is teaming up with 3D motion control provider Leap Motion to bring Google Earth into the palms of your hands
If you are one of the 1 billion Google Earth desktop users, you will need a Leap Motion controller ($80) to get up and running. It comes with software which syncs the hardware to Google Earth, and that’s about it. You’ll be soaring over the world in no time. Read more…
